Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is polymeric joint sand?

Polymeric sand is a material used to fill paver joints, the empty spaces found between each paver, tile or natural stone. It is sometimes called jointing sand, paver sand or hardscape sand. Jointing sand is made up of fine grains, to which manufacturers add a mixture of specific additive polymers. When put in contact with water, the polymers acts as an ultra-powerful bonding agent that strongly binds together the sand particles. The polymeric sand reduces the risk of weed growth and ant infestation that could affect the overall aesthetics and durability of paver projects.

  • What is the benefit of sealing my pavers?

Sealing your pavers is a great way to protect the investment you have made in your patio, walkway, or driveway. Paver sealer can help protect against weather conditions, insects, weeds, and stains. Our sealers are also “joint stabilizers” which adds strength the the jointing sand and increases the durability of your paver areas.

We offer two types of paver sealer “finishes”. Matte and glossy.

Only in rare cases are we unable to restore your paver areas. It is usually thousands in savings to restore your paver areas rather than rip out and rebuild.
